“The inspiration came to find ancient vineyards in Río Negro. Italian Countess, Noemía Marone Cinzano, and Danish Winemaker Hans Vinding-Diers were on a scouting mission in Río Negro when they discovered old-vine Malbec vineyards planted in 1932. The vines were ungraded, planted on their rootstock, and sadly left for abandon. They were inspired by the region and the potential of these historic vines, so they purchased the property, where they ultimately built Bodega Noemía.”
