Your Dogs Are Welcome At These California Wineries…
Looking for dog friendly wineries in California that will roll out the red rug for your pooch, it is pretty easy to find them. Just whistle! You can dig up dozens that are pup-happy. Here are a few to get you started.
PASO ROBLES
Tablas Creek: At the ready with dog bowls and treats. Well-behaved dogs are welcome on tours and there are vineyard dogs to play with.
TEMECULA
Oak Mountain Winery : Dogs on leashes are allowed into the tasting room. They hold many dog-themed charity events.
SANTA BARBARA COUNTY
Fess Parker Winery: Allows dogs to run free on its huge lawn, but be sure to bring water for you pal.
Zaca Mesa Winery: Relax with Fido at the picnic tables or while playing a game of chess on their life sized board. Or, take the pup on the hiking trail!
NAPA VALLEY
V. Sattui – Nice to pups year round, it also has a “Pamper your Pooch” day with treats, photos, contests and more.
Starmont Vineyards: They go all out and provide Frisbees, tennis balls and organic dog biscuits.
SONOMA COUNTY
Alexander Valley Vineyards: Walkies here. They are a doggie benefactor too — they held their first AVV Going to the Dogs benefit for Sonoma County Animal Care and Control last year.
Topel Winery: Dogs can go into the tasting room for a doggie treat. Towel even asks you to submit photos of you and your dog posing with their wines for the calendar it sells benefiting Healdsburg Animal Shelter.
Mutt Lynch Winery: “Bark Less, Wag More” is their motto. They donate part of every wine sale to rescue organizations. You can reserve space for happy hours, puppy showers, and pet birthday parties.
