BOB’S BURN PILE is my favorite wine from the Robert Young Estate Winery in Sonoma County, California. This is a spectacular Cabernet Sauvignon grown in the Alexander Valley on their estate right next to a “burn pile” for their vineyards’ clippings.
I paid about $90 a bottle for this 2008 vintage when it was released seven years ago. I am salivating with desire for the experience tonight (with an Asado BBQ, by the way!).
